About the Club
Shanqin Bay Golf Club is located on the east coast of Hainan Island in Wanning City, a truly world-class course designed by legendary golfer Gary Player. The 7,201-yard course opened in 2012 and is recognized as one of Asia's finest golf destinations with its stunning coastline views, challenging layout, and exceptional service.
The course is most celebrated for its breathtaking natural environment. Nestled between mountains and the sea, the fairways wind through rolling hills and tropical vegetation. The 18th hole is widely regarded as one of the best finishing holes in Asia - from the elevated tee box, golfers are rewarded with panoramic views of the South China Sea, where the sky and water merge into one.
In 2024, Shanqin Bay Golf Club was ranked #95 in GOLF Magazine's World Top 100 Courses, making it the highest-ranked course in China and one of only a handful of Asian courses to achieve this prestigious recognition.
